# Graspee

## What it does

- **Notes & Knowledge**: Organize thoughts in nested lists and structured notes.
- **Personal Finance**: Track accounts, transactions, and tags. Zero-knowledge.
- **Calendar**: Timezone-aware events with flexible recurrence.
- **Sync**: Optional end-to-end encrypted sync across devices.

## Technical Details
- **Encryption**: Client-side AES-GCM-256. The server never sees plaintext.
- **Offline-First**: Built on IndexedDB and Yjs CRDTs for seamless offline work.
- **Sync Protocol**: Encrypted blobs relayed via WebSocket. Server cannot decrypt.
- **Privacy**: No tracking, no ads, no third-party analytics.
- **Stack**: SvelteKit (PWA), Elixir/Phoenix (Backend), PostgreSQL.
