Protect and stay in control
Graspee is local-first. Profiles are created and encrypted on your device, and nothing leaves it unless you turn on sync.
- No account required. A local profile works entirely offline on this device.
- Optional sync encrypts everything on your device first. The server stores blobs it cannot read.
- Each profile has its own password. Graspee cannot reset it, so losing it means losing access to that profile.
- Install Graspee as an app straight from most modern browsers. No app store required.
- Exports are plaintext files in your hands. Store them as carefully as the data itself.
One documented exception: calendar app connections. Quick Add events wait in plaintext on the server until you import them, for up to 7 days, and published read-only feeds stay readable to anyone holding the subscription URL until you revoke them.
